We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cafe Supervisor to oversee our café operations within our retail souvenirs shop. As the Café Supervisor, you will lead a team of café assistants, ensuring exceptional service, smooth operations, and an inviting environment for all customers. Your leadership skills will help elevate the experience of our guests and improve the overall functionality of the café.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of café assistants, ensuring high levels of performance, motivation, and customer service.

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the café, including ordering supplies, preparing beverages, and ensuring stock levels are adequate.

• Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the café area, ensuring all health and safety guidelines are followed.

• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and efficient manner.

• Train and mentor new café staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable in café procedures, food safety standards, and customer service.

• Monitor cash handling, sales, and stock levels, ensuring accuracy in the point-of-sale system.

• Implement café promotions and upsell retail souvenirs to enhance the customer experience.

• Ensure the café meets or exceeds company standards for cleanliness, presentation, and service.

• Work closely with the retail team to coordinate in-store promotions and events.

• Perform administrative tasks such as staff scheduling, inventory tracking, and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Café Assistant or in a supervisory role in a café or retail environment.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• In-depth knowledge of food preparation, hygiene practices, and customer service excellence.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.

• Proficient in POS systems and cash handling.
