Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant to join our team at Retail Souvenir Shop. Candidate will have a passion for customer service, an interest in creating a welcoming atmosphere, and an eagerness to assist in the day-to-day operations of our café while promoting our unique retail souvenirs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with their café and souvenir needs.

• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages (coffee, tea, etc.) and light snacks in a clean, timely manner.

• Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained at all times.

• Maintain a clean and organized café area, ensuring all surfaces and equipment are sanitized regularly.

• Handle cash and process transactions accurately, using the POS system.

• Assist with inventory management, including restocking café supplies and souvenirs.

• Promote in-store promotions and souvenirs to enhance customers’ shopping experience.

• Follow all health and safety regulations, including food handling procedures.

• Support other team members as needed and assist in daily café operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a café or retail environment preferred.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• A positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude.

• Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions.

• Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards.

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and shifts as required.
