Part Time School Nurse

At times night duties

7:15am to 4:15pm

09:00am to 6:00pm

10:30am to 7:30pm

Note: The successful incumbent will be required to work on rotating shift based on the duty roster, Mondays to Fridays.

Job Description

•                     To develop and maintain a high quality of nursing care in terms of wounds care and sports injuries in the Clinics

•                     To participate in the development and implementation of policies and protocols which safeguard children, promote healthy outcomes

•                     To collaborate and develop strong links with pastoral care colleagues such as counselors, house parents and teachers.

•                     To take an active role in the education and promotion of health and medical issues to students and staff on an individual and group basis.

Liaise and follow up with the school medical provider

Requirement

•                     Minimally a Diploma in Nursing and must be registered with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)

•                     Minimum 2 years of working experience in healthcare settings.

•                     Relevant experience in school setting, paediatric setting, or A&E department, are preferred.

•                     BCLS & AED trained.
