As Kitchen Leader, you will learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You are responsible for making sure our food is absolutely delicious. You’ll order the food and train others to become future Kitchen Leaders.


Responsibilites: 
 

• Oversee and ensure smooth daily kitchen operations.
• Lead food preparation and cooking operations, ensuring all food is prepared to Chipotle’s quality, consistency, and food safety standards.
• Oversee proper food storage, labelling, temperature control, and FIFO inventory rotation to maintain food quality, freshness, and safety standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and food production planning to ensure adequate stock availability, efficient kitchen operations, and minimal food waste.
• Enforce food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices across kitchen operations in accordance with Chipotle’s standards and requirements.
• Properly maintain kitchen equipment and promptly report faults to minimise operational disruptions and maintain smooth kitchen operations.
• Train, coach, and develop Crew members to strengthen their skills, improve performance, and prepare them for future leadership opportunities.
• Support the Restaurant General Manager in managing kitchen costs, optimising resource utilisation, and achieving operational and financial targets.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support daily restaurant operations.

Requirements

• Relevant F&B or culinary experience or qualifications.
• Passion for the F&B and service industry.
• Positive attitude, good teamwork, and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
