A global power solutions leader is looking for an Application Engineer to define technical solutions for its power generation projects. You will work with sales and customers from tender stage through to project handover.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop mechanical and electrical technical solutions for major data centre and power projects across the region
- Define technical scope with sales during the tendering phase
- Review and clarify customer specifications and tender documents
- Prepare technical specifications and define the scope of supply for equipment
- Manage engineering scope from initiation to on-site delivery of genset systems
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal teams on engineering deliverables
- Prepare and review engineering documentation and drawings
- Support site installation, testing and commissioning activities
- Track technical queries and engineering changes to closure
- Support project handover and lessons learned

Job Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or a related engineering discipline and above
- Engineering experience in power generation, shipping, automation or oil and gas
- Comfortable managing documentation and coordination
- Experience dealing with customers and suppliers
- Exposure to installation and commissioning is an advantage
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude and strong willingness to learn
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering drawings
